General Information

Akasia Guest House is situated in the coastal town of Kleinmond, half an hour’s drive from Hermanus and one to one and a half hour’s drive from Cape Town. It is in a quiet residential area near to the mountain, walking distance from the sea (main beach), shops, banks and the golf course.

Akasia Guest House is a double storey, newly built, fully equipped self-catering holiday home.

  • To watch: Wild horses, spoonbills & a variety of wetland birds along the lagoon
  • White-water rafting, tubing or canoeing on the Palmiet River or lagoon.

  • Tennis, jukskei, bowls, surfing, fishing / crayfishing
  • Whale watching
  • Explore the quaint shops in Harbour Road with multiple eateries and freshly prepared seafood including perlemoen & oysters + the Abalone Aquarium
  • Visit the Penguin Colony in Betty`s Bay
  • The R44 coastal drive from Kleinmond to Gordon`s Bay was voted by Time Magazine to be one of three Most Beautiful Drives in the world
