General Information
Berghaven log cabin is situated in the picturesque Southern Drakensberg town of Underberg.
This cosy cabin is the perfect place for a country retreat and has all you need for a great relaxing holiday.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, electric stove with oven, kettle, toaster and all the cutlery and crockery needed. The living area has a TV and DVD player, as well as DSTV. A gas braai is on the upper deck for those hassle free dinners.
The house has two rooms equipped with lovely queen sized beds, both with full en-suite. The 3rd bedroom, which leads off the main bedroom, has two single beds and shares the bathroom . All rooms are tastefully decorated.
All beds have a duvet, blanket and relevant linen, as well as electric blankets for those chilly evenings. Towels are not provided, therefore please bring your own. Each bedroom is equipped with a panel heater. Berghaven is fully serviced, Mavis will come through at 10am each morning to make beds and tidy the kitchen and to ensure you are well taken care of. For those who are booking long stays, we can arrange the washing of clothes for a nominal fee.
The property is fully fenced and pets can come on holiday too with prior arrangement.

Rates
Peak season: R1,680 per night.
Off peak season : R250 pppn for adults and children aged 2 to 12 are R125 pppn. We do require a minimum of R1,000 for groups smaller than 4 adults.
We do also require a R500 security deposit which is refundable after departure.
Included in the rates is housekeeping and DSTV Compact bouquet.
Terms and Conditions
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking, and the balance 3 days before arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
For all cancellations made within 14 days of arrival date require full forfeiture of all monies paid. Cancellations within 2 months of planned stay will require forfeit of 50% of the total booking value. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation due to circumstances beyond our control, a full refund shall be issued. There are no refunds due to natural or man-made disaster, electrical blackout and the like.

Directions
Travelling from Durban or Johannesburg along the N3, take the R617 turnoff (Exit 99: Southern Drakensberg/Underberg). Continue along the R617, through Bulwer, to Underberg. Go through Underberg town. When you see the Spar on the left hand side, there will be a sign saying Kokstad 110 kms. We are the 2nd driveway after the sign. You will see the log cabin on the right.
